Howdy!

Aggie Gems is a women's organization at Texas A&M University. Our mission is to promote leadership through service, personal development, and philanthropic activities while encouraging a strong sense of sisterhood within our organization. For our philanthropy, we have been grateful enough to serve College Station's Head Start in providing underprivileged children the resources and tools that they rely on in their primary education.

Aggie Gems was founded on four pillars that our members strive to embody in everything that we do. Leadership, sisterhood, community involvement, and personal development are what we strive for as women of Texas A&M.

Our Purpose

Founded in 2014, Aggie Gems is a women's leadership organization that serves Texas A&M University and the greater Bryan/College Station area in order to better our community through our four pillars.

As Aggie Gems, we aim to grow as leaders while serving our community and creating forever-lasting friendships. So that each Gem may find their own individual success both here at Texas A&M and afterward in pursuits of their careers and future endeavors.

Words from our Executive Team:

How has Gems positively impacted you?

Gems has absolutely made my college experience what it is. The girls in this organization have shown me so much love and compassion and calling them my friends makes me so proud. The past couple years I have grown not only as a person but as a leader and I attribute that all to Gems!

Gems has given me an opportunity to grow in friendship with some of the most amazing people I've ever met. I applied for Gems on a whim in hopes of finding good friends to experience college with. I can confidently say I have found women I want by my side forever. Not only has Gems allowed me to develop as a woman, but has given me many opportunities to grow professionally. I am so lucky to be able to call myself a Gem and I wouldn’t want it any other way!

Gems has given me so many amazing opportunities to grow and learn from the strong women in this organization. The experiences and friendships I have gained through Gems has shaped me into who I am today. Applying for Gems my freshman year has truly made my college experience so special and I am so thankful to have these women in my life. Having the opportunity to be in a leadership position has taught me so much about myself, how I communicate, and how I can bring the girls in this organization together. Aggie Gems is truly something special and I love being a part of it.

Gems has been the organization that has truly made my undergraduate years better. Not only am I getting closer and closer to the most genuine and loving girls, but I’m learning so much about myself too. I’m a different person than when I applied for Gems as a freshman. I’ve grown in ways that have made me a better friend, coworker, and classmate. I enjoy being around girls that bring out the best in me and it brings me so much joy to do the same for others. Grateful to be at this part of my life, so thank you Gems!
